What work experience did you do as a young person and what did you learn from it?

Work experience plays a vital role in helping young people build confidence, develop employability skills and explore career options.

Recent changes in the statutory guidance for careers education in schools have set an expectation that employers will work with schools to provide meaningful experiences of the world of work.

As part of our commitment to showing young people what “someone like me” can achieve, we’re gathering stories from our volunteers about their own early work experiences: what they did, what they learnt, and how those experiences have shaped their journeys since. Your responses will help us inspire the next generation and show how valuable these opportunities can be.

Fill in this short survey by 31st December to share your experience.
