Fast-track your alumni network

Our Alumni Fast Track Programme

The recently updated Gatsby Benchmarks and Government Statutory Careers Guidance have set an expectation that all schools should feature diverse role models and harness the power of their alumni in their careers provision.

Designed with state schools in mind and backed by our 15 years of experience, Future First’s new Alumni Fast Track Programme gives careers leaders and advisers the training, tools and confidence to build a thriving alumni network that opens real opportunities for students.

It’s an opportunity to invest in the future of your students and your careers team.

Why alumni?

Your alumni network is a powerful, often untapped resource.

Having grown up in the same area and perhaps having had some of the same teachers, former students are ideal role models as they are instantly relatable. They can offer advice to students from their context and first-hand experiences and connect them with the world of work. Your former students are also a potential source of work experience opportunities for your pupils.

How does the programme work?

Across a 12-week term, a cohort of 15 schools will take part in three live webinars and one in-person session, with gap tasks in between. You’ll work with a cohort of schools facing similar challenges, while focusing on a plan tailored to your school’s unique context. On completion of this programme, you will receive a certificate that can be used towards your CPD hours.

Our September 2025 cohorts are fully booked. We are now recruiting for a January 2026 start.
